Game Preview: TB vs. WSH

After going 1-1-1 in their last 3 at home, the Lightning head out for six on the road as they try to stay in first place in the Southeast. The Lightning look to bounce back from an OT loss to Dallas as they visit the Washington Capitals in the opener of the road trip. The Lightning have gone 17-4-2 since Jan. 7 to take a two-point lead over Atlanta in the Southeast. The Bolts have won nine of its last 11 on the road. The Lightning have won four of the five meetings with the Caps this year including both games in Washington.
New aquisitions Jason Ward and Karl Stewart are in the line-up for tonight. Scratches are TBA.
