Vinny Gets #50, Bolts Win: TB 4 - CAR 2

Vinny Lecavalier hit the 50 goal mark, and Filip Kuba netted the game winner as the Lightning beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2 in Raleigh. Lecavalier netted his 50th on a backhand spin-o-rama from the top of the left circle late in the third to put the Bolts up by 2. "It was probably the luckiest goal I ever scored" Lecavalier said. With the win comes a huge 2 points in the standings, putting the Lightning at 88, 3 behind Atlanta for the Southeast lead. Johan Holmqvist was given the reigns as the #1 prior to the game by Tortorella, and did not dissappoint. He only surrendered 2 goals and was solid in the third making a nubmer of key saves. "I'm very excited, this is the time of the year you want to play." Holmqvist said after the game. The Lightning now head home to face the Caps in the first of 3 games at home before finishing the season on the road in Atlanta.
