Welcome Our New Contributor
We have some new blood here at Bolts Blog. Cassie is joining us to drop some knowledge and add her own spin on the Bolts. She has been blogging at the fan connect area of NHL.com, and is a great writer. Aside from that, the girl knows her hockey. She is originally from the greater Seattle area. played ice hockey for a couple of years with an all-woman's team in the early 1990s in Tacoma, Washington as a defenseman. She stopped playing hockey after blowing out her ankle playing street hockey. She also played basketball, softball, and flag football in high school. She recently moved to the Bay area adopted Tampa as her new home team (the Vancouver Canucks were her team - and she still keeps up with how they're doing - she also used to watch major junior hockey as well.)
A well rounded sports background, and a love for hockey! What more could you ask for. Welcome aboard Cassie!
