The one thing they've been consistent about from the beginning has been the defense. They like them to be really young and really cheap. If I were guessing, it would be that they were dumping salary for Vinny for one. But also getting what they could for the "decent" players they didn't have plans on keeping around next season to clear cap space to maybe make a play for some better defense in the offseason. Unfortunately Robert's crappy contract structure did him in. Too bad, he should have gone out on a better note.<BR/><BR/>Not a big fan of the deals today.
